Today I'm going to review Revlon Matte Lipstick collection.
I VERY MUCH love matte lipstick, oh my god, who doesn't?!
Matte lipstick is suitable for any occasion, may it casual or formal.
And matte lipstick keep you from troubles that glossy one sometimes gives, like the impression of 'habis-makan-gorengan' in your lips due to overglossed. :P
Revlon has many shades for this collection, but I decided to stick with these three:
009 In the Red
007 Fabulous Fig
003 Mauve it Over
Let's review it one by one then!
Revlon Matte Lipstick 009
In The Red
This is an amazing color of red.
If you want a red lipstick, doubt no more, pick this one.
The pigmentation is great, you just need to apply once
to get the reddest of red.
The texture is so smooth, and it stays long in your lips.
As long as you do not drink or eat, it can stay up to 5 hours.
As you can see, I use it a lot and it almost hits the bottom!
I don't wear it all red, I always apply it in gradient so I get that
kissable lips without making an impression of 'I-just-eat-an-infant'.
Just like its name, In The Red really leaves your lips in the red!
Revlon Matte Lipstick 007

Fabulous!
That was my first impression of this shade.
It's not too red, and it's not too brown.
It's in the middle of red and brown.
I look way more mature when I use this color.
The pigmentation is great.
No matter how much you reapply this color in your lips,
it will still turn out to be the first color that you apply.
The texture is so smooth, tho it feels thicker than In the Red.
It stays for more than 4 hours in your lips if you avoid eating or drinking.
It doesn't make your lips 'scream', but it's enough to make it lively.
Revlon Matte Lipstick 003
Mauve it Over
A pinkish nude that is so pretty.
It looks like my lips but 100% better.
But to wear this, you need to be extra fresh.
Some eyebags and pale skin won't work with this color.
This color is pretty, yet tricky.
Like its other sisters, the pigmentation is also great.
One swipe and you can get the most beautiful pinkish nude.
The texture is, in my opinion, between 009 and 007.
But among the three, this one has the weakest staying power, or maybe
that's because the color is kind of similar with your lips color, but I feel like
this can easily gone just by sipping from a straw or speaking.
If you want to go for 'I Wake Up Like This' look, I strongly recommend this one!
PROS
❤ It's so affordable, with only Rp55.000.00 you can bring home this lipstick
❤ The pigmentation is no joke
❤ The texture is smooth, it won't get cakey on your lips unless your lips is very dry and chappy
❤ The colors are pretty
CONS
⚡ Not long-lasting
⚡ It so easy to break and fall into pieces
